WGZR Country 106.9 is conducting a contest called Thousand Dollar Thursday

No purchase necessary. This contest may be temporarily postponed or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Any tampering with entries will disqualify a claim to the Prize. Winner must be a US resident at least 18 yrs of age. Winners are subject to a verification process to include name, address, home phone, work phone, cell phone, valid drivers license and Social Security number before being awarded the Prize. If the winner is disqualified, WGZR reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winners prize, in it’s sole discretion. One entry per person. One prize per household. By participating, all participants and the winners grant WGZR exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. By participating in the contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against WGZR. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes. All prizes valued over $600 will require the winner to fill out a W-9 Form. By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of WGZR personnel.

Thousand Dollar Thursday begins on April 24, 2008 and ends on June 12, 2008. Every Thursday during this timeline between the hours of 9am and 7pm, a designated Country Cash Song of the day will be played on 106.9, WGZR. The song’s title will be announced on-air prior to each Thursday cash giveaway. When the song is played on Thursday the ninth caller to 1-866-469-1069 will win a prize of 1,000 dollars. A different Country Cash Song will be played each Thursday during the contest period.
